Is
a Parrot the right Pet for You? Before
choosing a companion bird, please consider the different types of birds
available and the requirements needed to provide a happy environment. If
a parrot would require too much of your time but you would like a small
bird that is less demanding, consider some Finch or Canaries. Do
your research on the web and through reading about parrots and/or other
bird species well before you select a pet bird. Make sure you can tolerate
the noise levels of louder species such as Conures, and larger parrots,
before you consider purchasing. Some birds live a long time and require
a lot of cleaning as well as out-of-the-cage time, hands-on attention,
extra expenses such as toys, and perhaps veterinarian care by an avian
specialist. If
you are ready to buy a bird, I have wonderful, healthy birds available!
NEVER buy an unweaned baby parrot unless you are an experienced
handfeeder. I will not sell unweaned babies and I do not do trades. I
care about the home that my birds go into. Please read the "About
the breeder" page for my philosophy and why you should choose
me as a breeder.
